A frontline journalist and former Editor of The Nigerian Observer, the oldest surviving state-owned conventional print medium in Nigeria Mr. Monday Aigbe is dead.
He died yesterday in Benin, Edo state capital according to a family source. He was said to have been ill for some time.
Aigbe was a graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsuka (UNN). He also had a Masters Degree from the University of Benin (UNIBEN).
Aigbe was a distinguished Editor and General manager of the Nigerian Observer.
