United States President Donald Trump has demanded the immediate resignation of New York Attorney General, Letitia James branding her a “wacky crook” and “totally corrupt politician.”
Trump made the remarks on his Truth Social account Sunday night, stating that New York “can never be great again” with James in office.
“Letitia James, a totally corrupt politician, should resign from her position as New York State Attorney General, IMMEDIATELY. Everyone is trying to MAKE NEW YORK GREAT AGAIN, and it can never be done with this wacky crook in office,” he wrote.
The call for resignation comes amid scrutiny over a real estate transaction carried out by James in August 2023, shortly before she filed a major civil fraud lawsuit against Trump.
