In today’s UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg matches, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) secured a 3-1 victory over Aston Villa, while Barcelona dominated Borussia Dortmund with a 4-0 win.
Aston Villa took an early lead through Morgan Rogers’ counter-attacking goal. However, PSG responded with goals from Desiré Doué, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Nuno Mendes, the latter scoring in the 92nd minute to seal the win.
Barcelona’s attacking trio was in fine form, with Robert Lewandowski scoring twice, Raphinha adding another, and 17-year-old Lamine Yamal also finding the net. The team controlled the match from the outset, applying pressure and capitalizing on set-pieces.
Both results leave the visiting teams with significant challenges ahead in the return legs.
