….INEC denies Peter Obi’s faction access from submitting supreme court judgement sacking Abure
Lamidi Apapa said he has taken over as Labour Party (LP) National Chairman following the supreme court judgement which sacked Julius Abure.
The LP now has four factional party chairmen:
• Nenadi Usman (Peter Obi’s faction)
• Julius Abure
• Lamidi Apapa
• NLC
Meanwhile, INEC has allegedly locked entry gate restricting LP leaders (Obi Faction) and stakeholders who came to submit the certified true copy of the Supreme Court judgment removing Abure.
INEC denied them access as stern looking security operatives barricaded the gate. No official reason has been adduced from INEC on the development.
