Nicholas Ukachukwu has won the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primaries in Anambra State, securing 1,455 votes. The primary election was part of the selection process for the November 8, 2025, Anambra State Governorship Election.
Nicholas Ukachukwu scored 1,455 votes. Valentine Ozigbo got 67 votes, Johnbosco Onunkwo got 26 votes and Edozie Mmadu got 8 votes respectively.
It’s worth noting that the APC in Anambra State has faced internal conflicts, including allegations of manipulated delegate lists. A notable example is the resignation of Sir Paul Chukwuma, a prominent APC governorship aspirant, who stepped down citing a desire to build a broader political movement.
