Irrepressible Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has insisted that she remains resolute and would not be cowed or intimidated by the gang-up against her by Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Senator Natasha alleged that Akpabio had enlisted the services of former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello to arrange her recall from the Senate, possibly eliminate her and get someone to replace her in the Senate.
Appearing on Channels Television programme “Politics Today”, she said “Akpabio stripped me of my security to make me vulnerable. What other evidence do you need to know that he planned to eliminate me”.
Natasha pointed out that she was being punished by Senate President “in order to break me down and possibly compromise. I had to cry out because the hatred and hostility of Akpabio against me became unbearable”.
Natasha reiterated “Akpabio’s hatred against me became unbearable. He refuses my motions and contributions because I refused his sexual advances”.
An angry Natasha stated “His not allowing my motions and contributions is frustrating. He wanted to break me down and succumb to his advances.
“I raised the alarm because I just wanted Akpabio to leave me alone.
“I’m passing through difficult moments but I remain resolute. People especially women should find the courage to speak the truth”.
On the Senate committee on Ethics headed by Neda Imasuen which slammed her six months suspension and stripped her of all rights and privileges, Natasha lamented that she was not given fair hearing.
