Scores of Nigerians from all walks of life thronged the refurbished Intercontinental Hotel, Abuja to honour former governor of Imo State as he marked his 60th birthday anniversary.
They included but not limited to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, his former Deputy Atiku Abubakar, former commonwealth Secretary General Emeka Ayaokwu, former Senate Presidents David Mark, Anyim Pius Anyim, Ken Nnamani, Adolphus Wabara, Senator Tunde Ogbeha, former House of Representatives Speakers; Patricia Ete, Dimeji Bankole, Aminu Masari and Waziri Tambuwal.
Others were current Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu, 2023 Labour Party (LP) Presidential Candidate Peter Obi, former Secretaries to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal and Boss Mustapha as well as former Presidential Spokesperson Segun Adeniyi.
Other guests included; Former governors of Imo State, Achike Udenwa, Ikedi Ohakim, former governors of Cross-River Donald Duke, Liyel Imoke, former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Uche Secondus, pioneer Chairman of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Chief Onyema Ugochkwu, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, serving and past members of the National Assembly among others.
